How to Apply for NSP Scholarships in Chhattisgarh

Gather your documents before applying. The most common reason for rejection in Chhattisgarh is missing or invalid documentation. Get your income certificate, community certificate, bank passbook, and Aadhaar card ready before opening the NSP portal.

Register or log in at scholarships.gov.in. First-time applicants register with their Aadhaar number. Returning students log in to their existing account and apply for renewal. Ensure your Aadhaar is linked to your bank account before registering.

Select the correct scheme and complete the application. Choose the scheme matching your category and level. Fill all fields carefully — name and Aadhaar details must match exactly with government records. Mismatches are the single biggest cause of payment failures.

Submit and track institute verification. After online submission, your institution's NSP nodal officer must verify your application. Follow up with your college's scholarship coordinator regularly — institute verification is mandatory for the application to move forward to the state level.
