Infrastructure is unglamorous. Nobody photographs a child standing next to a properly-wired electrical panel or a well-designed child-height bathroom. But these things are what make a preschool safe, functional, and ready to serve children — year after year, batch after batch.
The Neemrana preschool requires proper flooring that is warm and easy to clean, adequate lighting for early morning and winter hours, child-safe plumbing with low-height fixtures, ventilation for the harsh Rajasthan summers, and structural safety. All of this is fundable — and all of it is tracked and photographed for donors.
Infrastructure donations are some of the most permanent contributions you can make to an NGO. The operational costs recur every year; the infrastructure, done right, lasts decades. Your ₹25,000 or ₹1 lakh today could be in active use for 20 years.
