Government schools exist in Haryana. But three critical gaps remain unfilled.
Haryana spends more per student than most Indian states. Government schools exist in almost every village. Yet ASER data shows persistent learning gaps β because funding alone does not fix teacher pedagogy, fill stationery cabinets, or build preschools for children aged 3β6. These three gaps are where MMF works.
Our teacher training workshops bring child-centred pedagogy to educators already in the system β both government and community teachers. Our stationery drives fill the materials gap that government budgets rarely prioritise. And our planned preschool in Neemrana will serve the 3β6 age group that no government school currently reaches.
This is not a replacement for government education. It is the missing layer that makes government education actually work for the most vulnerable children.
Three interventions. One complete solution for the government school gap.
Active in Neemrana, Alwar, Rajasthan β supplementing the HaryanaβRajasthan border education ecosystem.
Teacher Training Workshops
We run structured pedagogy workshops for local educators β building skills in activity-based learning, classroom management, and structured literacy. Skills that persist and multiply: a trained teacher reaches 20+ children every school day, year after year. This is our highest-leverage supplemental intervention.
See initiatives βStationery & Materials Drive
Government schools in rural Haryana and Rajasthan often lack basic stationery budgets. We distribute complete learning kits β notebooks, pencils, crayons, reading cards, and age-appropriate books β directly to children. No child falls behind a curriculum because they lack a pencil on our watch.
Support a student βPreschool Gap-Filler (In Development)
Government schools start at Class 1 (age 6). The 3β6 year window is entirely unaddressed in most rural communities. MMF is establishing a play-based preschool in Neemrana to fill exactly this gap. In development β your donation funds the planning, infrastructure, and staffing needed to open.
Preschool progress βWhat does your donation supplement and strengthen?
Each amount fills a specific gap in the government education ecosystem.
