Whether you’re passionate about fundraising, research, event planning, or grant writing, we offer tailored internship roles that align with your skills and interests. We currently offer the following internship positions. Each role is designed to help you develop practical skills while making a meaningful contribution to our ongoing initiatives.
1. Fundraising Internship (Remote or Onsite)
As a Fundraising Intern, you will play an essential role in helping the foundation raise the funds necessary to sustain our projects. You will assist in researching potential donors, planning and executing online fundraising campaigns, and managing donor communications. This role is perfect for those with a knack for communication and a desire to learn the intricacies of fundraising in the non-profit sector.
Duration: 2-6 months
Location: Remote or Neemrana
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct donor research and outreach.
Assist in planning and managing fundraising events.
Design and execute online and social media fundraising campaigns.
Manage donor communications and relationship building.
Skills Required: Strong communication, basic marketing knowledge, social media skills, and creativity.
2. Research and Grants Writing Internship (Remote)
As a Research and Grants Writing Intern, you will be responsible for identifying new grant opportunities and assisting in the preparation and submission of grant proposals. This role is ideal for students with a passion for research, strong writing skills, and attention to detail.
Duration: 3-6 months
Location: Remote
Key Responsibilities:
Research potential grant opportunities from foundations, governments, and corporations.
Write and edit grant proposals.
Maintain records of grant deadlines and requirements.
Assist in creating comprehensive grant applications.
Skills Required: Research skills, strong writing abilities, attention to detail, and familiarity with proposal writing (preferred but not required).
3. Event Planning Internship (Onsite – Neemrana)
The Event Planning Intern will assist in organizing and executing various events for the foundation, including fundraising events, community outreach programs, and educational workshops. This internship offers a hands-on experience in event management and is ideal for students with strong organizational skills and a creative mindset.
Duration: 3 months
Location: Neemrana
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and organize community outreach and fundraising events.
Collaborate with volunteers, donors, and partners for event coordination.
Oversee logistics for event planning, including venue, materials, and scheduling.
Support post-event analysis and reporting.
Skills Required: Strong organizational and communication skills, creativity, and event coordination experience (preferred but not required).

Fundraising & Donor Relations: Learn the ins and outs of donor outreach, building donor relationships, and running successful fundraising campaigns.
Research & Proposal Writing: Develop the skills to research grant opportunities and write compelling proposals to secure funding for non-profit initiatives.
Event Management: Gain hands-on experience in planning, coordinating, and executing community and fundraising events from start to finish.
Project Management: Learn how to handle multiple tasks effectively and lead projects that have real-world impact.
Team Collaboration: Work as part of a diverse, passionate team committed to making a difference in the lives of others.
We are looking for college students who are:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
Passionate about social work, non-profit management, or community development.
Able to dedicate at least 40 hours per week.
Strong in communication, teamwork, and independent work.
We welcome applicants from diverse academic backgrounds, including social work, management, communications, marketing, event planning, and research. Experience in non-profits is a plus but not required.

1. Are the internships paid?
Some internships offer a stipend depending on the role and duration. Regardless of compensation, all interns will receive a certificate of completion and a letter of recommendation from Mahadev Maitri Foundation upon successful completion of their internship.
2. Can I receive academic credit for my internship?
Yes, we are happy to work with your university to facilitate academic credit for your internship, provided that you meet the necessary criteria as defined by your institution.
3. What is the selection process?
After submitting your application, our team will review your resume and cover letter. If shortlisted, you will be invited to a brief interview where we will discuss your interests and how you can contribute to our projects. Final decisions will be made after the interview process.
4. Do you offer remote internships?
Yes, many of our internships are remote, while some, such as event planning, may require onsite work at our Neemrana location. Check the specific role for details on location and work arrangements.
