What is EduHelp?
EduHelp is a free, open student directory run by Mahadev Maitri Foundation — a registered NGO based in Gurgaon, working in rural education since 2023.
Students from anywhere in India can publish a free profile on EduHelp — sharing their background, their course, how much support they need, and how to reach them. Supporters who want to help browse these profiles and contact students directly.
We are not a crowdfunding platform and we do not handle any money. We provide the platform and visibility — the connection and the transaction happen entirely between you and your supporter.
Who Can Apply for Education Sponsorship?
EduHelp is open to any student in India who is pursuing education and needs financial support.
School Students (Class 9–12)
Students in secondary or higher secondary school who need support for fees, books, uniforms, or exam costs.
College / University Students
Any undergraduate or postgraduate student — BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech, MBBS, LLB, M.A., M.Sc, and all other courses.
ITI & Diploma Students
Students in Industrial Training Institutes, polytechnic diploma programs, or any technical and vocational course.
Skill Training Learners
Those pursuing short-term skill development courses, professional certifications, or vocational training programs.
Medical & Professional Courses
MBBS, BDS, B.Pharm, GNM Nursing, B.Ed, LLB and other professional degree students with high fee requirements.
All States & Communities
There is no state, caste, religion, or gender restriction. Any student from any part of India can apply.

What Makes a Strong Sponsorship Profile?
The difference between a profile that gets 10 views and one that gets 10 supporters often comes down to authenticity and detail.
Be Specific About the Amount
Don't just say you need help. State exactly how much you need (e.g., ₹1.2 lakh for the next two semesters at RTU Kota), what it covers (hostel, tuition, books), and when you need it by. Specificity builds trust.
Write Your Story as a Letter
Imagine writing to someone you respect. Tell them who you are, where you come from, what obstacles you have faced, and why this education matters to you and your community. Avoid generic phrases like "I am a poor student." Tell the specific story.
Share Your Family's Real Situation
Supporters want to understand why you need help. Mention your parents' income, occupation, number of dependants, and any recent setbacks honestly. Supporters can spot exaggeration — authenticity matters far more.
Include a Compelling Career Goal
Why does this education matter? What do you plan to do with it? A meaningful, specific goal — "become a nurse and serve my village", "open a pharmacy in Rajasthan" — gives supporters a reason to invest in your future.
Use a Real, Clear Photograph
Even a clear smartphone photo matters. Profiles with photographs get significantly more views and contact requests than those without. Avoid blurry images, sunglasses, or group photos — the profile should clearly show you.
Double-Check All Contact Details
A supporter who cannot reach you is a supporter lost. Test your phone number, email address, and UPI QR code before publishing. Update them immediately if they change.

Your profile is visible to thousands of visitors
Mahadev Maitri Foundation receives thousands of visitors each month from across India and over 40 countries. Your profile immediately becomes part of our public student directory, accessible to anyone who visits the EduHelp section.
Supporters contact you directly
When someone decides to help you, they use the phone number or email on your profile to reach out. You will receive calls, WhatsApp messages, or emails. Respond promptly and politely — first impressions matter.
Money transfers happen directly between you
Supporters send money directly to your UPI ID, bank account, or by scanning your UPI QR code — whatever method you both agree on. Mahadev Maitri Foundation is not involved in this transaction.
Update your profile as things change
Sign in to your dashboard at any time to update the amount you have raised, share new contact details, add a photo, or adjust your story. Keeping your profile current encourages ongoing support.
Share your profile proactively
Do not wait for supporters to find you — share your profile link actively. Send it to your college WhatsApp groups, post it on Instagram, share it in alumni networks, and ask family and friends to forward it. The more you share, the more likely you are to find support.
